Lose the Close Side Panel Button, Please

It's super annoying that you have to go back to the toolbar and click the "close side panel" button that appears after clicking the unneeded tabshow button. Clicking the tab page you want to view should automatically close the side panel. Also if you just want to quickly view the tabs using tabshow the unneeded additional button now means you have to relocate your mouse pointer to the new button to close the side panel. That is totally unnecessary. Quickly clicking tabshow then clicking it a second time to quickly view the tabs is all that is needed. At least give the option to not have that button.
